Maria Nairn is a journalism junior from Norman, OK with minors in spanish and women & gender studies. Nairn has experience in vast positions on and off campus. Such as communications, crisis management, and freelance photography. Upon graduation Nairn hopes to work as a photojournalist for National Geographic but, her goal for work is storytelling and connection.

As a little girl, Tevis Hillis already knew she would end up at the University of Oklahoma. Growing up in Lawton, OK, she was drawn to Norman’s college-town atmosphere. So, when she started as a freshman in August of 2016, she knew she had made the right decision. However, she did not begin her OU journey as a journalism major.
When Breann Miller graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in education, she had no idea her career would take a major shift. It was only by chance that she stepped into the world of fundraising.
Erin Semine Kökdil never planned on becoming a filmmaker. She was unsure where to go next when she graduated from Smith College with a bachelor’s degree in Latin American studies and Spanish.
