Lee Anne Stone is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a BA-Journalism from the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication. Lee Anne is the Director of Women In Gaylord, a registered student organization that seeks to help the students at Gaylord be prepared for life in college, as well as out of college, both personally and professionally. By promoting both personal and professional growth, Women In Gaylord aims to broaden students’ perspectives, strengthen industry specific skills, and create the next generation of leaders in journalism, strategic communication and media industries across the world. The goal is to expand opportunities for internships, mentorships, and jobs for students through enhanced engagement with alumni and friends of the college and University.
Before working in Gaylord College, Lee Anne spent time in Austin, TX as a reporter and producer for Texas Cable News (TXCN) before making her way back to Oklahoma where she spent 11 years as the Youth Director for Leadership Oklahoma, the top high school leadership program in the state for juniors in high school.
Lee Anne is also an Associate Certified Academic Life Coach and believes that coaching and mentoring helps build confidence and master soft skills that are needed in all areas of students' lives.
Lee Anne is married to her husband, Renzi and they have two sons, Jackson and Walker.
