Kennedy Breasette is a proud OU and Gaylord College alumna excited to return as the Production Manager. Sepulvado graduated with a degree in Creative Media Production and English Writing in December 2020. Kennedy joined the student newscast early in her collegiate career, starting on the production crew and working up to the lead director position as a third-year student. During her years as an undergraduate student, Kennedy worked at KFOR -TV in Oklahoma City as an assignment editor and writer, before being promoted to a full-time newscast director and production technician.
Breasette believes in a holistic approach to career development. While directing local news in Oklahoma City, Kennedy began freelance reporting for Osage News – the official newspaper of the Osage Nation based in Pawhuska, Oklahoma – as the mineral estate reporter. After developing broadcast production and print reporting skills, Breasette made another leap to further her news editorial experience. She joined the Oklahoma News Report on OETA as a Multimedia journalist reporting on general assignments and tribal affairs.
