Kelsey Martyn-Farewell is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and has been an OU employee since 2007. Kelsey is currently the Director of Finance and Administration for Gaylord College, providing college-level operations and oversight for all things finance, payroll, and HR. She has a motto to be useful and kind and enjoys making a positive impact for the college and the people in it.
Before working in Gaylord College, Kelsey worked on the research campus at the Center for Applied Social Research (CASR). In that role, she was the department administrator in charge of finance, payroll and HR. Kelsey also provided project management for millions of dollars in annual research grant awards for faculty members with academic homes across several colleges.
Kelsey was elected as a Staff Senator in 2023. Since 2021, she has been an active participant in the Staff Initiatives Committee. She is now the chair of that committee, working closely with Staff Senate Executive Committee to propose and push through ideas and initiatives to benefit the staff at the university.
