Kaitlin (Kait) Pericak is Assistant Professor of Adult and Higher Education at the University of Oklahoma. She earned her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Miami where she was formally trained in two specialty areas 1) medical sociology and 2) race, ethnicity, and immigration studies.

Kait’s research uses the case of sport to examine issues related to health, gender, race/ethnic relations, and migration/immigration. Her research utilizes critical and interpretive theories and quantitative and qualitative methods.
