EACS offers a Master’s in Education (M.Ed.) degree through our M.Ed. program at the Janine Rainbolt College of Education in Norman, Oklahoma. This program prepares students for administrative and other leadership positions in schools. Students have access to a rigorous, high-quality program designed to meet working professionals' needs by offering evening classes supplemented by outside research activities and field experiences.
The M.Ed. emphasizes critical inquiry through activities and research to prepare educators to lead and manage complex organizations. The program suits working professionals expected to serve with distinction in demanding positions while completing the degree. The degree is a building and/or district-level leadership skills program approved by the Oklahoma State Department of Education for certification purposes. Mentored, organized fieldwork is an integral part of the program.
This program is designed to prepare students for administrative and other leadership positions in schools. All coursework is offered at the Schusterman Center and/or online.
The master's program on the Tulsa campus conducts rolling admissions.

The Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education at the University of Oklahoma is committed to addressing the shortage by developing the next generation of school leaders. The online Master of Education in Educational Administration, Curriculum and Supervision will foster aspiring education leaders to principalship and other educational roles. The program is 36 credit hours and is designed for working adults. It can be completed in as little as 24 months while working full-time.
