Rachel Daugherty
Instructional Designer

As an instructional designer, Rachel Daugherty works with faculty and programs to design high-quality courses with engaging learning experiences. Rachel has ten years of teaching experience with undergraduate and graduate courses in research methods, technical and professional writing, and writing program administration, and has presented on teaching and program development topics at regional and national conferences. Before joining ODL, Rachel served as Assistant Director of First-Year Composition at Texas Woman’s University designing curriculum, assessing student learning, and leading teacher training. She received her B.A. in English from Oregon State University, M.A. from Oklahoma State University, and Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition from Texas Christian University.
