Limitations

       Time limitations did not allow the researchers to fully explore all applicable communication theories, particularly in regard to the effects of message content on the choice of the communication channel. Further research may focus on how the message might affect channel choice and may result in variations of the models presented here.
       Time limitations also prohibited the research team from fully testing and conducting the research to confirm the validity of the models presented. After initial validation, these models should be revalidated, from recent literature and survey data, a minimum of every five years to ensure the premises remain current.  Updates information, including survey results, may be posted with this research at http://www.ou.edu/deptcomm/dodjcc/groups/ 00B3/
