Jim Rauch

Jim Rauch serves as the Director of the Capital Group Fellows at the Price College of Business.  His teaching interests are Insurance, Retirement Planning, and Commercial Banking.  Prior to joining OU, he taught finance at East Central University and Gustavus Adolphus College.  He received his B.A. from St. Cloud State University, his M.A. from University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and his Ph.D. from Colorado State University. He worked as a Credit Analyst for Green Tree Financial Corporation in St. Paul, MN.  Dr. Rauch’s research interests are in small business bank lending and casino financial management.  In 2002, he was a visiting fellow at the University of Economics in Ho Chi Mihn City, Vietnam.  While there, he wrote a paper on developing small business bank lending in Vietnam.  Dr. Rauch has been a consultant for Chickasaw Nation for 19 years, and has served as a loan auditor for an Oklahoma bank.
