Gaylord College proudly welcomes Jake Basden, Gaylord College alumnus and President of Sandbox Entertainment, for a Zoom session on Thursday, November 16, at 3 p.m. The event, arranged by Dr. Katerina Tsetsura for her Theories of PR course, promises an insider's look into the realm of entertainment public relations.
At Sandbox Entertainment, Basden has worked with high-profile clients such as Faith Hill, Kacey Musgraves, and Dan+Shay. Basden’s expertise is rooted in over 15 years of experience as an omnichannel entertainment content marketing and communications leader. Basden has been instrumental in creating and executing successful partnerships with Fortune 500 companies to publicize the biggest entertainment stars on the planet. Basden has also been recognized by PRWeek, earning a spot on the "40 Under 40" list in 2019 and named "Young PR Professional of the Year."
His extensive experience in the entertainment sector includes leading teams across brand and consumer marketing communications, content creation, brand partnerships, high-profile events, crisis management, media strategy, executive leadership positioning and corporate reputation management.
