Gaylord College Public Relations Student Awarded PRSA Scholarship at Upper Case Awards

Gaylord College public relations senior Jessica Zimmerman was awarded the PRSA Student Scholarship at the OKC Chapter's Upper Case Awards banquet on Nov. 2 at the Oklahoma History Center. Zimmerman is part of Gaylord College's accelerated bachelor’s/master’s program, which allows high achieving undergraduate students to begin graduate study during their senior year.

The scholarship, provided by the Oklahoma City Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, supports students with a demonstrated interest and achievement in public relations. Zimmerman's award, valued at $1,500, will be applied to her academic expenses for the 2023-24 academic year.

To be eligible for the scholarship, Zimmerman met several criteria including maintaining a good standing as a PRSSA member and being enrolled full-time in a relevant field of study.

Congratulations Jessica!
