The University of Oklahoma recently unveiled a statue of esteemed university supporter Michael F. Price. Price’s statue sits just outside the main doorway of the north entrance of Price Hall, facing Asp Ave. and Campus Corner down the street.

Three faculty members from the University of Oklahoma have received a $219,407 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to support a 2025 summer institute, “Visual Wests."
Exhibition Dates: March 10th - March 29th 2025
The OU School of Visual Arts will host the Oklahoma Art Education Association, Young Talent in Oklahoma in the Lightwell Gallery. The Lightwell Gallery is located on the 2nd floor of the Fred Jones Art Center.
“This is an Oklahoma Art Education Association sponsored competition for High School Students in grades 9-12, residing in Oklahoma, and attending Oklahoma high schools, both public and private.”
Reception Date: The closing reception for the OAEA Highschool Art will take place Saturday, March 29th from 12pm to 1pm, with the award ceremony taking place at Nielson Hall from 1pm - 3pm.
The OU School of Visual Arts will be open Spring Break, March 17th - March 21st.
The Lightwell Gallery is located on the 2nd floor of the Fred Jones Art Center, and open Monday through Friday (unless there is a holiday or campus closure) 9am - 5pm.

The BFA II Students will be exhibiting their artwork with half the students sharing their work in this first of two exhibitions.
