When we set out to build esports and gaming energies at OU we knew from day one that desire and demand wasn't going to be the issue. It was going to be administrative buy-in and cultural mindset elevation. Seven years of development and execution have brought us to this elevated state. We strategized our milestones, created intentional programs, and coupled it with the student voice and campus culture to build something that is 100% OU from top to bottom. Our roadmap is still only about 40% executed in 2024 and we have much more to showcase, innovate, and explore! - Moog

Representing OU in formal competition against other universities is not just playing a game together. It requires training, structure, development, psychology, and intention.
The "Esports" development part of our story. Most think this is what esports is all about but without the rest of the pieces esports can't sustain itself. This is the largest single topic of development within ECCI.

Getting the word out isn't as simple as just posting things up. It requires strategy and coordinating across all the efforts you are in charge of. Esports and gaming as topics and the cultures around that have some crossover but very different intentions and delivery styles.
