Our mission at the Center for Faculty Excellence is to guide all University of Oklahoma faculty in every facet of career development, including teaching, community engagement, and research and creative activities, from their first year at OU through the full arc of their faculty career.
CFE will be hosting New Faculty Orientation NFO, August 12 & 13, 2024 at the National Weather Center in Norman. New Faculty Orientation connects new faculty to campus resources and includes support for teaching, research, and creative activities, writing and much more. Invitations to NFO will be sent by July 1, 2024, faculty can reach out to CFE at cfe@ou.edu for more information. In addition, during the fall semester CFE offers a series of In Depth seminars for new faculty providing an opportunity to connect, network, and gain additional information from representatives of various departments and other new faculty colleagues.
