Congratulations to OU Sociology's Dr. Erin Maher who has received the Provost’s Community Engagement Award for Outstanding Scholarship, Research, and Creative Activity. This award is given to faculty who have shown evidence of "mutually beneficial partnership with community organizations and leaders, research addressing critical community needs, and important and innovative community-based research within the last three years". Dr. Maher's implementation of the The Parent‐Child Assistance Program (PCAP) in Oklahoma succeeds on all three dimensions and highlights OU Sociology's dedication to community service and service to our state.
