Peyman Hekmatpour successfully Defends his PhD Dissertation
Congratulations to Dr. Peyman Hekmatpour who successfully defended his dissertation titled: “Global vs. Local: Panel Analyses of Environmental, Economic, and Political Gender Inequities in Late Capitalism.” His committee members included Tom Burns (chair), Cyrus Schleifer, Rob Clark, Mitch Peck, and Allen Hertzke (Political Science). Peyman will be joining the Department of Sociology at Oklahoma State University (Tulsa Campus) as a Teaching Assistant Professor in January. Successfully defending a Doctoral Dissertation is a huge event and the pinicle of any students academic journey. Join us in celebrating Dr. Hekmatpour’s completion of this major milestone.
