Schleifer's Research Appears in ASR

Assistant Professor Cyrus Schleifer recently published his research in the American Sociological Review (ASR). The ASR is the flagship journal of the American Sociological Association and is among the most prominent journals in our field. His article “Measuring Automatic Cognition: Advancing Dual-Process Research in Sociology”(Co-authored with Andrew Miles of Toronto University and Raphaël Charron-Chénier of Arizona State University) builds upon dual-process cognitive theory by exploring several methodological approaches to measuring automatic cognitive processes within sociology. This research promises to advance the methods in cultural sociology, measurement of social actions, and the role of automatic cognition in understanding a wide variety of social processes and attitudes.

Congratulations Cyrus! We are proud of you.
