Congratulations to Dr. Melissa Jones, PhD who has successfully defended her dissertation entitled: Violence in the Lives of Women Prisoners. Her committee was co-chaired by Mitch Peck and professor emeritus Susan Sharp. Other committee members included Meredith Worthen, Stephanie Burge, and David McLeod (Social Work). Dr. Jones will be joining the department of Sociology at Brigam Young University as a tenure track assistant professor in Fall 2018. Congratulations, Dr. Jones!! We are all very proud of you.
