Our People
Our diverse faculty have interests spanning the discipline. We have the largest research group specializing in early modern science in North America. We also have special strengths in the history of technology and the history of medicine. Our geographical scope includes Europe (especially France, Germany, and England), the United States, and South Asia (especially India and Indonesia), and Safavid Persia and the Islamicate world.
