Paul Roland is an M.A. student and Schusterman Center Graduate Fellow with the Schusterman Center for Judaic and Israel Studies. He earned bachelor's degrees in History and German with a minor in Medieval & Renaissance Studies from the University of Oklahoma in 2019, and he earned an MPhil (Master of Philosophy) in Medieval History from the University of Cambridge in 2020. Paul’s research interests include medieval religion and Church History with particular interests in angelology, liturgy, and magic and how these fields were engaged among various groups and contexts across the Middle Ages.
