Help Make History
There are many ways that alumni and friends can contribute to the ongoing work of our Department.
In the past, we have benefitted enormously from donations, which have funded everything from endowed professorships to graduate travel fellowships to undergraduate prizes. Indeed, in the current economic climate, much of our work depends upon the generosity of individuals and families. The History Department is profoundly grateful for this support.
We are also beginning to explore other ways that our alumni and friends can invest in the Department: Alumni might return to OU to talk to current undergraduates about how they put their History degrees to work in the world beyond the university, offer tips on job searching and networking, or serve as informal mentors for our very best students.
