Zane Brown is a History PhD student from Searcy, Arkansas. He earned his master’s degree in history from Arkansas State University and his master’s thesis addressed nineteenth-century missionaries, anthropologists, and Southern Plains indigenous societies. He wants to continue learning about the history of the American West and Native America at OU, where he is currently a GTA for Dr. Warren Metcalf.
