Robert Melendez, CIA, CFE
Robert Melendez is an Audit Manager for the University of Oklahoma Internal Audit department, and serves the University of Oklahoma, Cameron University, and Rogers State University. He joined OU Internal Audit in May 2022.
Robert came to OU Internal Audit with over 18 years of accounting and audit experience with the last 10 years focusing on audit. His audit experience includes 9 years at a consulting firm where he worked in several industries including oil and gas, utility, manufacturing, and higher education.
Robert earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma. He is a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Robert is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and the IIA Oklahoma City Chapter.
