Advising website

Q. Who is my advisor?
A. Students may choose from any of our College-Level Academic Advisors they would like to meet with each semester.

Q. When should I be advised?
A. Students are required to be advised prior to each enrollment period.  Advising begins in September and February for the following Spring/Summer and Fall terms respectively.

The Pioneer Natural Resources Student Services Center serves all Mewbourne undergraduates.  This includes assisting with transfer credit evaluation, choosing a major, academic progress checks, information about OU policies and procedures, academic support services such as tutoring and student organizations, and graduation verification.

The Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy believes that faculty members are best qualified to provide information about research, professional development, and career advisement.   We encourage all Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy students to consult with a faculty in addition to their acadeimic advising each semester.
