About:
I have worked in higher education for over a decade, and have been a first-year advisor in the OU Scholars Program since 2015. I feel privileged to be able to spend time working with first-year students as they embark on their higher education journey. In my free time, I enjoy singing, traveling, and spending time with my husband, Les, and my sons, Noah and Liam.
What do you like most about working with new students?
My favorite thing about working with new students is being able to help them navigate their higher education journey. I love to be able to help with information, with resources, and with helping students take ownership of their studies and their OU experience.
What advice would you give to OU first year students?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions! The answer is always “no” if you don’t ask!
What is your favorite place on campus?
Gothic Hall in Catlett Music Center. It’s always full of sounds and light and resonates with endless possibilities.
