The Air Force ROTC mission is to develop leaders of character for tomorrow's Air Force and Space Force. National core values for AFROTC programs include:
The Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) is an educational program designed to give individuals the opportunity to become U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force officers while completing their degrees. AFROTC prepares you to assume leadership positions of increasing responsibility and importance in the modern Air and Space Forces.
We would love for you to visit Detachment 675 as part of your introduction to the Air Force ROTC program! If interested, please schedule an information session (in-person or virtually) through OU's Academic Tours. We will happily give you a tour of the detachment and answer any questions!
Detachment 675 was established
at the University of Oklahoma on
October 10, 1952
OU's Detachment 675
is the 13th largest detachment
in the nation.
As of July 2023,
Detachment 675 has had
1279 Officer Commissionings.
Detachment 675 gives me the opportunity to nail down my own style of leadership. Even with early mornings and late nights, I leave our AFROTC events with energy, knowledge, and confidence. The longer I am here, the more prepared I am to be an Air Force Officer.
