OU researchers with the School of Civil Engineering and Environmental Science and the Center for Restoration of Ecosystems and Watersheds, Gallogly College of Engineering, are well represented in the Grand River Dam Authority's 2020 annual report (pages 22-41), providing an annual review of their watershed partnership efforts.
"I can think of no better way to describe the OU CREW/GRDA relationship than as a game-changer for my students, the environment, and the communities of northeast Oklahoma," said Robert W. Nairn, CREW director, David L. Boren Professor and Sam K. Viersen Family Presidential Professor in the School of Civil Engineering and Environmental Science. "Once again, the hard work of our OU graduate students, senior capstone classes, and others is prominently highlighted."
The report is a compilation of programs, projects and research performed and supported by the Ecosystems and Watershed Management and Scenic Rivers Operations Departments of the GRDA. OU is in the second 10-year graduate student support agreement (2019-2029) with the GRDA.
