1960s

Gray Frederickson (BBA, Finance, 1960), will be inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame this fall.

1980s

Chip and Lisa Taylor (BBA, Petroleum Land Management; BBA, Marketing, 1981; 1981), who met in Adams Hall while students, are commemorating their meeting through a recent gift to Price College.

 

A blog written by Rick Beavin (BBA, Finance, 1982) about veterans and Medicare was published by the Orange County Breeze.

 

OU Regent Eric Stevenson (BBA, Finance, 1985) has been named the next leader of Nationwide's retirement plans business.

 

Aimee Harlow (BBA, Marketing, 1986) has been named by the Journal Record as a Fifty Making a Difference honoree.

 

Kevin Thompson (BBA, Management, 1987) was included in an online list of the 10 Coolest SIEM CEOs of 2019 (You Should Know).

 

Bob Satawake (BBA, Marketing, 1987) is a guest speaker at an event in Dallas sponsored by the World Affairs Council, scheduled Sept. 16, 2019. Tickets are discounted for Price alumni.

 

Kenneth Spell (BBA, Marketing; MPH, 1989; 1995) has been named CEO of Baptist Health's Homestead Hospital.

1990s

Stephen McDaniel (MBA, 1990) has been named a board member at Vanguard Natural Resources.

 

Katrina Shaklee (BBA, Management, 1995) has been named by the Journal Record as a Fifty Making a Difference honoree.

 

David Schuermann (BBA, Finance, 1999) has joined Saxum as chief financial officer.

2000s

Kelley Grace (Bachelor of Accountancy, 2000) has been named by the Journal Record as a Fifty Making a Difference honoree.

 

Chip Wolfe (BBA, Management, 2003) has earned the Graduate of the Realtor Institute and Sanibel and Captiva Islands Specialist professional designations.

2010s

Nicole Lynn (BBA, Management; JD, 2011, 2015) was featured in The Work in Sports Podcast.

In Memoriam

Graham Johnston (BBA, Management, 1958), who holds record numbers of swimming records and swam in the 1952 Olympics, has passed away. Johnston holds 180 U.S. Masters Swimming records and 105 FINA Masters World Records, the highest of any male in the world. Among other distinctions, Johnston won silver and gold medals in the British Commonwealth Games in 1950, swam in the Olympics in 1952, and has been awarded six All American awards. He was featured in the Fall 2018 Price E-Zine.

 

Rufus Jess “R.J.” Maddox, Jr. (BBA, Management, 1975) has passed away. A lifelong resident of Ardmore, Maddox was an avid OU fan who never missed a game. He loved spending time with his grandkids and especially fishing with his grandson. Maddox retired from Best Buy, where he served in management.
