NORMAN, Okla. — As generative AI rapidly transforms the business and academic landscape, the Michael F. Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma is relaunching its Dean’s Speaker Series with an exploration into the groundbreaking technology set to impact every part of our lives.
The Price College of Business invites the OU community and public for this free event, planned for 12:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 10, in Meacham Auditorium of Oklahoma Memorial Union, 900 Asp Ave.
Ethan Mollick, a leading researcher on the implications of AI for organizations from the University of Pennsylvania, will deliver his thought-provoking insights with a presentation entitled “AI and Everything: How Generative AI is Impacting School, Work and Life and What That Means for the Future of Business.”

There is incredible potential for this technology to spark positive change. We’re excited for Ethan Mollick to visit campus to explain how we can maximize our understanding and application of this powerful tool.”
Mollick is a professor of management, author and researcher in the fields of technology and entrepreneurship. A prolific scholar, Mollick’s research and commentary are regularly featured in the likes of Forbes, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
He is also the author of The Unicorn’s Shadow: Combating the Dangerous Myths that Hold Back Startups, Founders, and Investors and co-author of Changing the Game: How Video Games are Transforming the Future of Business.
