As part of an effort to connect with and serve EMBA in Energy alumni, the institute offered a personal branding and networking Zoom session for alumni and Cohort 14 students, the latter of whom were on the OU campus for their Module 1 residency.
More than 70 alumni attended the August session. Rita Murray, Ph.D., the EMBA in Energy program’s executive career coach, presented the hourlong event, “Personal Branding: Turning Disruption into Opportunity.”
Five EMBA in Energy alumni who have had great career success joined her to share their stories about cultivating a brand. They were: Andrew Blaquiere, Cathy Lebsack, Brian Simmons and Sarah Fenton. Murray also highlighted alumnus Brian Adams' resume and LinkedIn profile as an example of showcasing personal brand and results.
