Sarah Fenton is the senior vice president of asset performance at EQT. In that position, she oversees all the company's Appalachia subsurface functions, including drilling, completions, production, geology, reservoir and reserves. Prior to EQT, she worked for Rice Energy as the director of asset performance and oversaw the Appalachia reservoir engineering and reserves; for Sundance Energy as the director of reservoir engineering and oversaw reservoir engineering for the Eagle Ford; for Newfield Exploration as a staff reservoir engineer responsible for Uinta Basin Wasatch asset development; for EnCana holding various roles in operations, facilities, production, reservoir and exploration in the Piceance Basin, Haynesville, and Horn River Basins.
Before Fenton’s experience in energy, she worked for Anheuser-Busch as a brewing group manager, for IBM as a product engineer, for 3M as a research engineer, and for Conoco as a research engineer. Fenton is a registered professional engineer in Colorado and Texas. She holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Michigan Technological University, a Master of Science in chemical engineering from Colorado State University, and an Executive MBA in Energy from the University of Oklahoma.
