Kylie Harrison earned her bachelor's degree in speech communication from California State University, Chico (CSUC), her master's degree in persuasion from Pepperdine University, and her Ph.D. in communication with an emphasis in social influence from the University of Oklahoma. She is the Director of Business Communication and Coordinator for Accreditation, Assessment, and Rankings for the Michael F. Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma. Harrison loves applying her award-winning teaching and communication skills to help lead students, government officials, and business professionals on their journey to communicate for impact.

The United States Economic Development Administration recently awarded Price College and the Tom Love Innovation Hub a 1.9 million dollar grant to support Oklahoma’s entrepreneurial ecosystem through the Build to Scale initiative. Harrison is honored to serve in this exciting effort as an OU partner.

Community Service 

Harrison volunteers her expertise to law enforcement officers from around Oklahoma, attending the Oklahoma City Police Department's Advanced Accident Reconstruction School on communicating technical information to juries. 

Publications 

Harrison studied under the direction of leading scholars, including Judee Burgoon, Norah Dunbar, and Michael Pfau. Her research interests focus on building individual and organizational credibility, persuasion theory, and nonverbal communication. When not working, she enjoys baking, gardening, building Lego, and visiting America's national parks with her husband and sons.
