Karen Hennes, Ph.D., researches financial reporting choices and disclosure. Her work has been published in The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Accounting Horizons, and Oil, Gas & Energy Quarterly. Her research on restatements, co-authored with Brian Miller and Andrew Leone, received the American Accounting Association's Notable Contribution to the Literature Award in 2013.
Hennes teaches Financial Reporting Issues in Energy, including the U.K. study abroad section, and Intermediate Financial Accounting II.
