Professor Cuccia teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on federal income taxation. His research focuses primarily on tax professional judgment. Cuccia has published in several journals, including The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, and Journal of the American Taxation Association (JATA), and has served on the editorial boards of JATA and Accounting Horizons.
Before entering academia, Cuccia practiced as a CPA with KPMG. He is a member of the American Taxation Association (ATA), National Tax Association, and American Institute of CPAs, and recently served as president of the ATA.
