Yun Fan
Assistant Professor of Accounting
Yun Fan is an Assistant Professor of Accounting. She earned her Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma. Prior to returning to OU, she was on the faculty at the University of Houston and University of Texas at Arlington. She has taught financial, cost, and intermediate accounting and co-taught a doctoral seminar in accounting research. She currently teaches intermediate accounting at Price College.
Dr. Fan’s research investigates capital market-based accounting issues, including the misclassification of financial statement information, the portfolio approach of managing earnings, and corporate voluntary disclosures. Her work has been published in leading academic journals including The Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, and Management Science.
She enjoys spending time with her family, particularly reading to her children, jogging, and traveling.
