Ling Zhang earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Jiangnan University in Wuxi, China in 2009. While at Jiangnan University, she did an internship serving as an Assistant Auditor at Riyue CPA firm. She also worked as an accountant in China for five years. After coming to the United States, she received her Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2017, and she joined the Ph.D. program of the University of Oklahoma in 2019. Her research interests include the association between tax avoidance and corporate governance and earnings management. Ling enjoys music, tennis and traveling.
