As a part of the inaugural class at the University of Oklahoma’s Polytechnic Institute, Shelbie Raney has her sights on what the future of cybersecurity will look like for Oklahoma. Raney believes that OUPI will open many doors for Oklahomans to allow students to give back to their communities with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive.
With cyber threats rising, the OU Polytechnic Institute (OUPI) is meeting the demand to fill the almost 4,000 vacant cybersecurity jobs in Oklahoma. OUPI at OU-Tulsa offers degree completion programs in applied artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and software development and integration. OUPI’s faculty boasts more than 200 years of combined industry experience.
This August, the OU Polytechnic Institute welcomed their inaugural class into the classroom. Excitement was in the air as students and faculty looked forward to collaborating and what the future of OUPI has in store for them.
A new hands-on experience awaits high school seniors! High school seniors can now apply to receive a bachelor's degree in applied artificial intelligence from the University of Oklahoma. The OU Polytechnic Institute (OUPI) is expanding to the OU-Norman campus with a four-year applied artificial intelligence degree this fall.
