Policy Process

The policy process is a set up of steps that ensures transparency and shared governance while mitigating risk to the University and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. 

The process is not exclusive to all policy approvals but is the general guideline for approving a policy that will impact all three OU campuses. Questions regarding the approval process of any policy can be directed to the Director of Policy Management at mstephens@ou.edu.
