OKPAN Collaboration Forum Series
This program aims to provide an annual or bi-annual opportunity to participate in an open discussion of archaeological issues that are important to and determined by descendant communities. In creating this series, OKPAN hopes to promote meaningful and respectful collaboration between archaeologists and indigenous peoples by facilitating dialogue in which descendant communities are the main contributors. This series aspires to emphasize the diverse perspectives of descendant communities on archaeological debates, in order to bridge gaps in communication and outreach between stewards of the past in Oklahoma and beyond.
