Pervious Paver Parking Lot Workshop
Cost: Free
The Oklahoma Water Survey, collaborated with the Oklahoma Conservation Commission, C4L Construction, Lake McMurtry Friends, Inc., ASP Enterprises, and the Oklahoma Water Resources Board to offer a workshop on design and construction of a pervious paver parking lot.
The workshop was from 10 – 2 on Friday, January 26th near Stillwater at the Lake McMurtry East Ranger Station (Park Use Permit not required). Directions can be found at https://goo.gl/maps/ojzJ9y8RWSp.
The workshop included a discussion of site selection, design criteria, benefits of LID and funding opportunities. A portion of the workshop was outside where attendees participated in an infiltration test and viewed construction of a pervious paver parking lot in progress. Lunch was provided and no cost to attend, but registration was required. We provided a ride to the workshop from the Norman/OKC area for a limited number of participants. Early registration preferred to be completed no later than January 24.
