Joyce Stiehler began working for the Oklahoma Geological Survey as the Publication Sales Manager in April of 1996. In 2014, she also became the Financial and Payroll Representative and has recently transitioned into a new role as the Office Manager. In 2015 she was selected by the Hourly Employees Council to receive the Distinguished Performance Award.
Joyce graduated from Oklahoma City Community College in 2012 with an Associates in Science degree in Computer Science. While attending OCCC she was the recipient of two awards: Outstand Academic Achievement in Cyber Information Security and Civic Honor Award.
Joyce is married to Doug Stiehler and they have 2 daughters, a son, 2 granddaughters, and 2 grandsons. She enjoys volunteering for several organization in Norman, including: Jazz in June, Norman’s Community Christmas Dinner, Project Linus, Boy Scouts of America, and OGS’s Teddy Bear Tea. In her spare time, Joyce enjoys quilting, sewing, embroidery, reading, and backpacking with her girlfriends at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico.
