Climate Prediction Center: Provides a variety of climate information for the United States such as 6–10 day, 8–14 day, one-month, and three-month outlooks on precipitation and temperature, as well as hazard and drought assessments.

South Central Climate Adaptation Science Center: Provides decision makers with the science, tools, and information they need to address the impacts of climate variability and change on their areas of responsibility.
Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change: Reviews and assesses scientific, technical, and socio-economic information produced worldwide. It is the international leader on summarizing (not conducting) research on climate change.
U.S. Global Change Research Program: Coordinates and integrates U.S. governmental research on changes in the global environment and their implications for society.
