The Office of Leadership & Volunteerism empowers OU students to lead, serve, and collaborate in ways that enrich the university, strengthen communities, and advance the public good.
Leadership is the process of engaging with and empowering people, initiatives, and communities in pursuit of positive change. Through leadership, students cultivate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for personal, professional, and community impact.
Volunteerism is the intentional practice of investing time and talents in service to people, causes, and communities. Through volunteer experiences, students build meaningful connections, develop transferable skills, and make a difference while preparing for life after college.
