NEXRAD Level II Data Pricing

IRADS provides low-latency, streaming WSR-88D (NEXRAD) Level II (base) data from all radars provided by the National Weather Service - free of charge to academic users, and for the cost of provision to federal government and private sector users. The service levels and associated cost rates are listed below.

Canadian Radar (CANRAD) Data Pricing

Customers purchasing CANRAD data directly from Environmental Canada (EC) receive the pushed data via FTP. When purchased through IRADS, customers receive data via our LDM server and do not need to maintain a server running FTP, and LDM is secure. A full data feed purchased directly from EC costs about $24,000 per year ($2000/month), plus a $2000 one-time setup fee. IRADS has no setup fee, and cost for a full feed is listed in the table below.
