What Does Campus Look Like? A Photo Preview
From new signage to new classroom configurations, the Norman campus is preparing to welcome back staff, faculty and students.
Over the past month, University Operations has installed signage across campus that calls attention to new safety measures and features helpful reminders of how we can all help stop the spread of COVID-19.
Modifications to classroom spaces also is underway, with rooms being reconfigured to accommodate social distancing. Spaces have been measured and COVID-19 adjusted capacities have been determined by the Fire Marshal’s Office. With this information, the Provost’s Office and the Office of Classroom Management have made adjustments to fall class schedules.
Typically used for meetings and events, several rooms in the Oklahoma Memorial Union have been converted to classroom spaces.
OU Law Interim Dean Katheleen Guzman stands in the Bell Courtroom in Andrew M. Coats Hall, where 250 theatre-style seats have been removed to make way for individual tables and chairs.
