Startup Funding
Startup Funding encompasses all funding-related initiatives and programs, including early-stage pre-seed funds operated by Startup OU. All funds are managed by Startup OU's student-led funding arm, Crimson Prairie Ventures.
Funding Programs
Startup OU continues to create and leverage new and existing funding opportunities to support the startups in its portfolio. Startup OU currently manages a few internal investment funds.
The Startup Innovation Fund is a issues non-dilutive, proof-of-concept grants up to $10,000 for protoype development and market testing. These funds are only available to currently enrolled, full-time students at the University of Oklahoma as part of an existing scholarship fund established through the Division of Entrepreneurship and Economic Development.
The Startup Development Fund (SDF) is a flexible slush fund for ranged, non-dilutive investments up to $5,000. These funds are available to any portfolio founder, regardless of student status or direct affiliation with the University of Oklahoma.
