Graduate Student Research Scholarship

The Institute for Community and Society Transformation (ICAST) is pleased to announce a new Graduate Student Internal Funding Opportunity. We anticipate making four awards of $1,000 each to assist students with research or travel costs related to their thesis or dissertation project. Research projects must relate in some way to ICAST’s strategic areas of focus and graduate students must be ICAST affiliates from an OU Norman campus program. Scholarship awards will be given on a first come first serve basis.

How to Apply for ICAST Scholarship Opportunity

• Provide a 1-page summary of your proposed research project and how it relates to one or more of ICAST’s strategic areas of focus (see here)
• Include a brief description of what the funds will be used for
• Provide a brief statement of support from your advisor/major professor who is supervising your project (a brief email is fine)
• Application deadline is February 1, 2025
