The International Bazaar is a global cultural marketplace. The event brings together IAC member organizations to offer a unique experience that celebrates and introduces the University community to the various countries and regions represented at the university of Oklahoma. The International Student Organizations showcase various items unique to their cultures and or countries, offer national cuisines, and also engage the community in fun activities and games. This outdoor event is open to the general public and the student organizations usually have various items and food on sale.

The International Prom is an annual event organized by the International Advisory Committee every fall semester. This free social/Cultural event seeks to bring all OU students together, both domestic and international, for a remarkable dance night featuring International music from all corners of the world. It's at the International Prom where the unique American Prom traditions harmoniously blend with the rich and diverse musical rhythms of the world

IAC hosts an international student pageant which has contestants sharing facts about their culture, showcasing a talent, and presenting their ethnic wear. It occurs every Spring semester.

PURPOSE: For international students at OU to share their culture and celebrate OU's diverse community.

The event is FREE for everyone and each contestant will compete in these four categories:

1) Cultural fashion show and presentation

2) Talent show

3) Interview

AWARDS AND RECOGNITION:

The winners of Mr. and Miss International OU will represent OU’s international students for the one calendar year.

Now in its 48th year too, the annual Eve of Nations (EON) has grown to be the ultimate IAC signature event in the Spring semester. Fully encompassing of the IAC Mission, the Eve of Nations brings together over 20 International Student Organizations at OU in the celebration of the diverse cultures and traditions of the world represented by the University's diverse student community. We are humbled by this opportunity to organize Oklahoma's largest international cultural event..
