Sound of the Sooners

The Sound of the Sooners is comprised of members from the Pride of Oklahoma and School of Music, this high energy group performs at all Men's and Women's basketball games during the fall and spring semesters.

In March, members are selected to travel with the men’s and women’s basketball teams to support the Sooners in the Big XII and NCAA Tournaments. Lodging, travel, and food expenses are provided during tournament travel. Past tournament sites have been located in Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Jacksonville, Kansas City, Memphis, Phoenix, San Antonio, San Francisco, and Tempe.

The Sound of the Sooners rehearse one afternoon per week during the spring semester and personnel is based on an audition held during the fall semester.
