Chris Kennedy

Chris's team works to support student and staff with their needed access to data. They work to ensure seamless operation of processes in the background and troubleshoot issues that arise. Another goal is streamlining cumbersome processes to allow forward-facing staff to have more time to spend interacting directly with students.

Chris earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and International Business in May 2004 and a Master of Business Administration and Management Information Systems Certificate in December 2012 from the University of Oklahoma.

Chris worked as an Assistant Director from 2004-2010 at the University of Oklahoma National Scholars Programs. His tasks included recruiting National Merit Scholars from northeastern Oklahoma and aiding in the recruitment and admission process for students around the nation.

Shortly after, Chris became the Director of Recruitment Technology from 2010-2012 at the University of Oklahoma Recruitment Services. He supported CRM and technology needs for on campus and distributed staff.

Currently, Chris works as the Director of Strategic Technology for Enrollment Management at the University of Oklahoma.

My best advice for a high school junior or senior preparing to apply to college:

Get involved and stay involved on campus! Not only will you feel more of a part of what is going on at the university, but you will also have a greater support network available to you through your connections in those student organizations and may even gain more insight into what you are truly passionate about.
